About Us

How trekkingtrends.com is built, where the event data comes from, how listings are verified and how we make money.

trekkingtrends.com is an independent intelligence platform for the Web3 event circuit.

The problem we set out to fix

Event discovery in Web3 is broken in a specific way: the information exists, but it is unstructured. You can find out that a conference is happening; finding out who is speaking, who is sponsoring, who runs it and whether last year’s edition was any good takes an afternoon of tab-hopping.

So we built a database instead of a blog roll. Every event, speaker, company and organizer is an entity with its own fields and its own page, linked to everything it touches. That is what makes questions like “which companies sponsor DeFi events in Asia” answerable at all.

How the data is built

  1. Collect — structured data from organiser sites, official announcements and direct submissions.
  2. Deduplicate — the same event announced in five places becomes one record, not five.
  3. Verify — a human checks dates, location and links before anything goes live.
  4. Re-scan — changes are flagged for review rather than applied silently.
  5. Relate — speakers, sponsors and organizers are linked so you can traverse the graph either way.

What we will not do

  • No paid ranking. Sponsorship never moves an event up the results.
  • No fabricated attendance figures or unlabelled “featured” badges.
  • No scraping behind a login, and no republishing full event content as our own.
  • No selling your email address, ever.

Get in touch

Corrections, partnerships and press all go through the contact page. Organising something? Submit your event — it is free.

Who is behind this directory?

An independent team. We are not owned by an event organiser, an exchange or a fund.

How do you make money?

Sponsorship, advertising and clearly labelled promotional placements. None of them buy a better position in the directory.

Where does the event data come from?

Organiser websites, official announcements and direct submissions — structured, then verified by a human before publication.
